The feisty Vedikas (Bhumi), Abhinav Tyagi aka Chintu Tyagi (Kartik), a Kanpur government official, is struck by her parents when they encounter one another in the future. Soon, the knot is connected.
The couple appears to enjoy marital happiness until Tapasya Singh (Ananya) enters their life. To Chintu's otherwise worldly existence she adds a dash of sass and spice. He is now looking for a complot to create a workshop for her boutique in Delhi with the young lady in Kanpur. Chintu spins a yarn when she feels insecure about being nice to him because of his marital status.
His friend Fahim Rizvi (Aparshakti) is adding to the folly and at times he helps Chintu to make his accomplishments worse and worse. Sadly, events are out of balance and lead to a great deal of chaos and drama.
Kartik, like Chintu Tyagi, strikes the correct balance as a man who breaks off the routine if a change occurs. The actor has a lovely presence on the screen and does his best. He hits again with a monologue, something that Kartik has transformed into a trademark. But he does not ring about women in his life this time, but he talks of the rut in which most middle-class people get trapped.
